If you hide your profile, people that have messaged you before can they message you again while it's hidden?

Yep, anyone can message you again if its hidden as all the functions on the left hand menu are still accessible.

Anyone at all can still message, wink you and look at your public photos, and if they add you to there hot list see your avatar photo
