Can anyone explain the following? When viewing Search Results, some Users at the top of the list are shown as being 'on-line' but when clicking on their username to access their profile, the profile page often indicates that they have actually been 'off-line' for several minutes. Conversely however, in the Search Results, other Users are shown as having been 'off-line' for several minutes but when I access their profiles, the profile page indicates that they are actually 'on-line'. Result, I am confused as to whether they are actually 'on-line' or not! All rather strange? Comments welcome. |

My understanding is that when someone logs off, the site takes a few minutes to upload that information and show them offline, it is rather annoying but unfortunately that is how it goes. |

When you do the search, the results of that search are "frozen" for 5 minutes while you page through them.
The results when you click through are live. The "online now" is fairly inaccurate anyway, if someone's profile says "5 minutes ago" they may just be spending a long time reading a profile or be composing a PM. It's not worth worrying about
