Admin checking if an account is real

There's an account that I'm interested in, I know it could be a fake as the pics are someone well known, as it's quite new and unverified.
Would admin check or should they just automatically block us from chatting further and possibly close the account as it's easy to see who the pics are of... Or would they investigate incase there is a chance that member really is that well known and is on here? |

Once you report it with the reasons you have said, neither of you will be able to access each others accounts as Admin will block you. It's also likely they will suspend the account whilst they investigate it. I'm also at a loss as to know why you would be interested in a fake profile? |

"Admin dont automatically block someone just because they have been reported.
If you think a profile is fake then report it and Admin will review."
They won't automatically block the reporter and profile? |

No not automatically. For example, if someone was browsing profiles and saw a name and shame status and reported it, there would be no reason for Admin to block the 2 people just because someone has reported a problem....they might never have even spoken to each other. |

There are lots of well known people on the site so it could well be real...but as Jezebel says you won't be blocked from each other just by reporting it for Admin to check.
There are some reasons Admin block people from each other but this wouldn't be one of them, otherwise people would never report and Admin want them to  |

Admin can also request a pic, like the photo veri pic to be done, with a specific code or word, so they can verify the account is not 'fake', or that the images are being misused.
Only if the profiles are reported though. |
