Fareham

We posted a forum this morning about other sites couples use for swinging, it wasn't rude or referenced anything illegal or against site rules!

It looks like it's been removed but we haven't been told why!

If someone's got the time to audit the forums then why can't they send a quick message saying 'breached rule . . . . . ' or 'removed because . . . '

We consider it quite rude that this is considered an open forum but things are made to disappear without explanation! Well worth the money paid for gold membership!

Sorry rant over!

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

You can't reference other sites on here. Its the same on other sites too so I doubt Fan admin are being underhand.

Noticed a few threads like this lately..

Considering that threads that are closed are meant to explain why they were closed, this should also be extended to threads removed.

"How we moderate

We don't want the forum to be over-moderated, so we'll only remove threads where absolutely necessary if we believe it to be in the best interests of the site or where we're legally obliged to. When threads are closed the mods will add a note explaining why."

Would suggest the OP reports the issue to admin for them to review procedures.

North of The Wall - youll need your vest

You asked for other sites that couples use for swinging. No-one can answer you because they cant name other sites on this one. That is against site rules and they would end up getting a ban.

It isnt fair to ask a question where people answer your question and get banned. Therefore the thread was deleted.

Nothing underhand, just common sense.

TBF there is no rule stating you cant name other sites... so thats not an obvious rule break.

One rules actually states you cant post "links" to other sites.

but there is nothing saying you cant name them..

update of the rules required.

again.. OP should report the issue.

Admin give the moderators very clear guidance on which threads need to be removed or closed. But of course, as with all moderation on the site people are always able to take up the issue directly with Admin if they have any issues.

That may be so, but just commenting for feedback that that rule is not available to others to be aware of.

OP should report it to admin anyway, as that is the rules, and not to dispute it in the forum.

Forum Mod

O o O oo

Mos are told what threads to leave on and which to take off, one of those to take off is a thread asking for competing sites.

Once a thread has gone it is very difficult to write a note to it explaining where it has gone.

Mods are not obliged to mail people to let them know the thread has gone, but if you can't find it then you can safely assume it has....if you have any feedback or questions about it , it is best to ask Admin themselves.
