I'm trying to use my phone to upload pics to my profile, however in place of the box where the file address is entered, there's an icon that says "Uploads Disabled"

I am sure I have seen other people say they can't upload pics from a phone to the site?

Most phones don't allow uploads you need to upload via a PC.

We're working on allowing uploads via email so you can add phone pics. This year.

we have uploaded a few from our phone and never had an issue, we have the samsung 360HI

Generally this is down to the functionality of the web browser in the phone. Even the mighty iPhone doesn't allow it, but I know some that do, including most of the Windows based smartphones.
