Is there any way to make the forum private from search engines or can you make it so you he to be a member to access it. Due to all that has been going on in the press, it would be helpful if only members of fab could access the forum and read what we are trying to do. Any possibility of that as it would help protect us |

It takes 2 minutes to sign up as a member and have access to everything on the site. If someone want to read what is on here then thats all they would have to do.
As with everything on the internet the safest thing is to assume that absolutely everything you put on is public - and dont put anything on there that you dont want the public to see...
I know thats not the answer you want to hear but thats the reality. |

oh i know that thanks but if they had to go to the trouble of joining etc., they might not bother. At the moment even a child can access the forum of fabswingers would be nice if it say was kept to just site supporters a fiver a month is cheap to try and curtail every reporter under the sun from perving forums re : SOCIALS GET TOGETHERS ETC., just a thought |

aye i suppose yr right rugby it was just a thought, cos it dont cost much to ring around venues to check when they know a social date is coming up never mind as i said it was just a thought xxxx tc |
