I have a new webcam, and it came without any software as it is plug & play, I have set the settings properly(Global)everything is enabled ...the webcam icon appears in chat but no picture, the cam is working when connected to pc and when running on skype. would this be conflicting with adobe flash as the cam does not have flash software installed but i have all the adobe flash/shockwave plugins

If your new cam works elsewhere but WON'T work in Fab Chat, try rebooting, and coming STRAIGHT to Fab Chat (i.e. don't open your cam anywhere else first). |

Thank you for the reply SunnyOptimist, i had try that, one thing i think could be a problem is in the settings in the source tap where you select the cam there is a old webcam program shows up and i can't get rid of it? i select the usb cam i am using but still no joy...Could it be that ? and if anyone knows how to get rid of it, as i did delete all date stored on site in settings, thx SunnyOptimist , i will try what you mentioned x |

No, joy....I can still see the old webcam program in the source tap when selecting my cam, how come it still appears after i have deleted data stored from the site..fab must recognize i was using it before their must be a way to wipe it? thanks |
