Verie showing on summary when I didnt meet

I recoeved a verie today from a user who I didnt meet.it now shows on my summary and to say I'm pissed off is an understatement.
I've reported to admin,will they remove the verie?

Looking at you verification summary it shows "8 men". Is the issue that you would like it to read 7?

We can't remove it unfortunately. You could choose not to show the summary.

Blocking removes his veri from your list but not from the summary. Even if the guy left the site, the summary would still read 8 men not 7 |

You can choose to hide the text of the verification, but the summary of the numbers of verifications is indelible, presumably to demonstrate the total, whether or not the profiles are still on the site.
I guess the summary mechanism was introduced because people complained that their veris vanished as those who had written them left the site |

Admin I appreciate that this is not something you have control over and it is part of the site construction,however it is very wrong that a person should have to alter there profile due to a user who continues to stalk her.
A verification that reads 'hi' is not a verification.
Why should any member have to change a part of their profile because of another member abusing the sites verification system?

If Admin have no way of removing it. It won't help the reporter very much.
