dunno how many people are affected with there cameras not working, firstly at the top left and corner, menu bar file / edit / tools/ drop down the tools option to manage add ons, view all add ons.. in here you will see weather you have adobe flashplayer or shockwave installed and weather either is enabled or disabled.. i find that shockplayer doesnt view my cam..
from tools options internet tools/ restore privacy settings and advanced settings, up date sun java if you have flash player installed.
http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp once you have installed adobe and updated java when you start flash, your cam should be detected, if not, you may need to update your cam drivers, if they are uptodate and the flash applet opens, on the privacy tab ensure that the option button allow is enabled and not remembered to disable, when that has been completed, open the camera tab and using the dropdown box, select your camera or the program you use with your webcam... if this still doesnt permit your camera to be viewed, you may need to alter your firewall options and enable all live products and webcam programs for permission to pass through, if all that fails... install manycam
thanks in advance
