Do you mean on your updates page?
Your updates page shows "updates" from your friends, people you have added to your hotlist and people local to you that meet both of your preferences. You can stop the local ones appearing by blocking them. If they are on your hotlist just remove them. |

No, I haven't used the 'Add to hotlist' button from the menu. these are all local ladies who appear on my home page feed status? under a caption ' Recent updates by local people who match your account preferences and location data. '

I'm not sure, but I think this is a site 'add on' which they think may be of interest to you.
Ignore/don't read the section, or if it is getting to you, block them, if you sure they do not interest you.

Clicking on the underlined home page feed gets my local ladies which seems to be a site generated thing? |

What is happening is that they are highlighting local updates..hotlist is a list of people that YOU select..the local ones will just appear..dont think you have a preference over this..live with it or block em one by one???? |
