Go to the verification and click underneath it where it says something like display or hide  "

The buttons say... "Display on your profile" if they are not already displayed, and "Remove from your profile" if they are on view - assuming your privacy settings display any veris at all.
You cannot completely remove a veri (ONLY display or hide) once someone has given it to you unless..... you block them (or they leave). If you do block them, their veri to you disappears from the list, but so does your one for them... but you still get the green tick.
I am always interested what is the motivation behind asking this question, which rears it's head frequently.
Often, it would appear, it is because the recipient no longer wants anything to do with the person(s) who gave them the veri... in which case, it's a simple case of blocking... kills two birds with one stone.. (now I'll get the bird fanciers having a dig at me.... everyone else does....   )
