Click "My Account" at the top of the page, or when you go to reply to a message and there is a "Your current status" message at the top left. Click Update it which is highlighted in yellow. |

I thought, (could be wrong) that status updates were for site supporters.
So if you dont support the site, you cant do status updates or looked at me and what not |

Nope, anyone can post a status update. On non-site supporters, it's on the right hand side of the screen. |
