Attaching a pic to a message?

Any advice on what I may be doing wrong? I want to send a message to somebody with one of my private pics attached.I can't figure out how I do it! Any advice?

When you write the message to someone your pics are below the text box.

Just tick the pic you want to attach and it will send with the message.
