Paying by Text won't work

Hello
I am trying to pay by text and each time I text the word Swing I get nothing back.
I have never had a problem doing this before with same phone etc.
I really don't want to pay by credit card etc.
I have contacted FAB but just been told that the alternatives are by card.
Any advice ?. |

Are you sure it's the right case i.e. SWING and to the correct number?
Could the number be blocked because of it being a premium rate? Maybe the replies are being sent to spam?
Worth checking with your provider about the premium rate numbers. |

Hi there
And thanks for your help. I did a spam check and you were right.
That has never happened before.
I now though have 4 pin numbers sitting in my spam that I would imagine I have paid for.
Can I use these one after another or will they become invalid.

Thank you. We tried two attempts and received two codes at the same time 10 minutes later, could have been a network issue, never had a problem before but only one worked, will wait to see what we're charged. |

you need to ensure that your adult content is enabled but also that your provider isn't blocking "Short Codes". I had to have these enabled separately from the adult content block by my provider. Short codes are the 5 digit numbers used for text services, competitions etc. |

It's nothing to do with the service provider. It's something to do with the site and whoever they are using to take payment. I had tried doing the text message this morning without success again so tried calling the number to do the 3 minute call. Had the call terminated on there end due to technical issues but have still had £15 added onto my phone bill after confirming this with three. I have no content filters and as they stated it isn't an issue on three's end and they have told me to contact yourselves with regards to this. |

Check your "Spam and blocked" folder in your text message app. Often the text will end up there. Don’t forget to mark it as NOT SPAM so it doesn’t end up there next time.
These are some common reasons text upgrades fail:
* You're not in the UK (text upgrades only work in the UK from a UK SIM)
* You don't have sufficient credit if you're on PAYG
* You're not setup to receive adult premium content (contact your mobile network, they can age verify you and sort this)
* Your network has blocked your account from receiving premium contact because of other issues
* You don't have reception
* Your phone inbox is full |

This is one of the services that I want, if I'm investigating switching to a new network.
It's good to save money but I'd not move to a cheaper network but not be able to buy site supporter. |
