I am not saying this is the case for the OP but if someone else has access to your bank account/ accounts and check them as a matter of course then it could be questioned.
Either way, the question is allowed to be asked in the help section , we don't really need to keep questioning "why" in this section please. It will put people off asking for help. |

Another option would be to get a 'burner' SIM card, which you could pay with. It would be cheaper than the price of postage, should that have been an option. Phones are sold now unlocked for all networks, so a temporary SIM could be for any network.
This doesn't give you a way to pay by post OP but maybe it's practical for you and could be quicker. |
