Note... more of an observation than a plea for help!...
If you select to not hear from single males, then they no longer show up in your 'looked at me' list. That makes good sense.
The same however is NOT true of at least some of the other categories, so MM couples or TV/TS/CD for example.
Is that not contra to expectations? |

"They don't show on your looked at me list but they can still look, not sure what taking them off the looked at me list achieves to be honest. "
But they do. For example, I'm just looking for a couple, so I initially filtered to just that. All the single guys no longer show in the 'looked at me list' (and they did before), but MM couple etc still do.
The point I'm making (and why I raise this), is I'd rather have a 'looked at me' list that only has those I'm interested in. Filters removes the single guys but not the others (which I think it should do).
I don't care if others look, I'd just rather not know as I'm not interested (if you get my drift) |

I understand your view. It's been this way since the start and I can't see it changing myself.
The 'who's looked at me' function isn't really much use tbh, given the majority of couples and single women will likely be browsing in stealth mode (privacy options, choose not to show on others who's looked at me lists) so many may be viewing and you'll never know.
Plus, just because someone looked it means nothing. People won't know if they're interested ril they look an it could be just from a browsing session, the 'who's near me' function, local updates or even off the back of a forum post.
A look is just a look. It's only worth worrying about if it results in a message or a wink really. |

Hi Obi. Thanks for the confirmation and background - much appreciated. I totally get it's kinda meaningless, but I just thought it odd that blocking single guys removes any insight into them looking, but the same wasn't true of other categories. I'm only looking for a couple, so seeing anything else in the "who has looked" feed (however minimal) is irrelevant. |

I get this, we have single males blocked out on my couples profile.
On this one I have couples filtered out, but can see they've looked. |

I think the only "looked at me" filtering that works then is for single men. I can certainly see MM Couples and TV/TS, with both blocked on this profile. If I understand you correctly, it sounds like the same would be true of MF Couples for you (ironically the only one I'm not wanting to block of course) |

The "who has viewed my profile" was changed a few years ago, I believe if I remember correctly.
Sure it was mentioned that if people block single males, then they won't show on the who's looked at me.
I think it was more a feature geared for single women.
But OP. I do agree. Who ever you block from contacting you, shouldn't show on the who has viewed my profile list. Or, at the very least have a tick box type thing to say who can show on the who's looked at me page.
