Deleting message threads

I obviously know how to delete a message thread in the usual way. However under the new system, if you go to the recipient's profile page you can click on your message and the thread is still there! There is an option to delete again

but click on that and the thread is still visible!

Hiya op

Nope there isn't, but would it matter if things haven't gone the way expected, if you bothers you, you could always block them

It kinda matters cos he has already nicked my face pic (sent it cos they were a m/f couple) and he has my postcode on the thread.

Even if you delete the message your end it doesn't delete it on their profile.

If you've sent a face pic and a postcode, then they've already seen both. The picture could be saved a d the postcode written down.

Deleting a message wouldn't change what's already happened.

Even under the old system it only deleted the thread for you, they could still see everything unless they deleted it from their own profile.

Delete the photo from your own photo gallery, if that's what you sent it via and it should disappear in the message, hen upload it again

Golden rule.

If you're at all worried about sending someone personal info.....don't send it. 🤷‍♂️

AAh yes! I deleted pic at time to stop temptation of me sending pic out.

Sorted then....as I said earlier hopefully he didn't write my postcode down.

Thanks everyone for your help.
