Forum block from start

So I'm part of a couple, our profile is anna_and_corkian.

From day one we've never been able to post to the forum or put up a meet. I posted here a few months ago about this and was told to contact the site owners through the contact link at the bottom of the main page. I've done this a few times and never got a reply, and the problem remains unfixed.

At the start I thought this was a bug or error - somehow our profile was corrupted in some way. When I last posted here, I was told that it was certainly not a bug, that it's a forum block, and it was done for a reason. And that's it. No explanation of why a brand new profile would have what looks like a permanent forum ban on it despite never having posted anything.

I'm posting again as we both find this increasingly irritating. If we're banned, why? How can a ban be fairly applied from day one? What justification is there for sanctioning a user without explaining why? If it's an error, why no support to fix it?

Between our two single profiles and the couple's profile, all of which are site supporters, we're paying a decent whack of money and really don't appreciate the way this is handled.

So - what needs to be done to either fix this or to receive a valid explanation for why our profile was sanctioned?

Thanks.

Asking in here won't get you any answers unfortunately. The only people who could would be site admin. If you've asked the question and the block hasn't been lifted then it sounds like that's your answer.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't see how this is an acceptable situation. These vague responses that imply that the block is somehow deserved and that I should just accept it with no explanation are just infuriating.

Why so vague? If a user is deemed to deserve a block (and once again, how can that be the case from day one, before ever attempting a forum post?!), they deserve to be informed that it's happened and why.

Why is this situation deemed acceptable? Why is every reply "too bad", with the between-the-lines subtext of "you must have done something to deserve it"?
