When someone deletes a message or entire conversation, does it also "disappear" for the other person involved?
I was tidying up my inbox and noticed there are a couple "missing" conversations, which made me wonder. |

I don't think deleting messages removes them from the other correspondents mailbox. Prior to the change in the way mail worked (which seems to retain message exchanges), I could see message threads others had deleted as they were marked as such in the sent folder.

The only ways messages from other people disappear from your inbox is if you delete them yourself or if they leave the site.
If someone leaves everything goes with them so the conversation will vanish from both your inbox and your sent messages. |

Apparently messages get deleted after a period of time, when is unexplained |
