Missing Messages?

Has anyone had messages sent disappear from sent messages?

I know I sent two messages which now look like there where never sent. Nothing untoward in them. One contained a YouTube link but I think that’s allowed. The other was just jokes with the girl.

User is still there. I talk to her in person. I laughed about the message I sent her. She said “what message” that’s why I asked.
