We verify a good meet, but what about the bad ones?

Something we have been thinking about and (fortunately) never experienced but for every meet we have had we have left a positive Verification and they have deserved every word, but what happens when things go wrong? Do we just brush it under the rug and move on? How can we potentially warn others?

You can't warn others.

If you leave a bad veri they won't display it and it will still add to their summary making them look better than they are.

You are not allowed to name and shame on the site so not much you can do.

What do you want to feedback?

If a meet wasn't great that could just be incompatibility.

If something occurred that you felt the need to 'warn others' about, then you should maybe consider reporting the profile to admin.

Naming and shaming isn't allowed but anything happening that's serious/non consensual should be worth reporting the profile.

And we dont want to, never have and hope we never do have a reason. But surely there would be a benefit for these rare cases? It must be easy to be normal for a meet then show true colours on the 2nd after its too late?

Assholes arnt stupid!

Is there really no way to warn our peers?

Hopefully we never need to but that sounds like a gap that other communities have addressed 😕

Though now we say it we see how that could be abused for deformation so probably only have ourselves to blame 🤦‍♂️

Just seems odd to us 🤷‍♂️

Admin absolutely would be the way to go if anything serious happened, or police for that matter but we are not necessarily talking about reportable offences just the idea that someone could sell an amazing version of themselves get the verification and default back only to move on.

All while the profile looks immaculate

As already stated there is no way to warn anyone about anything. You can report the serious stuff to admin but telling other members on a status, on your profile or via the forum will get you a ban.

Verification is about confirming someone is who they say they are and thus reliability. It's not a swinger's trip advisor.

If anyone behaves inappropriately and breaks site rules, then report to Admin.

So what would stop someone leaving a negative veri, just because someone refused to get physical with them, or meet them for a second time?

The best approach to take with veris I've found over the years is to simply look for consistency. Profiles with hidden veris tell you nothing. Those with one or two from years ago given the impression of inactivity. Some stick out like a sore thumb as suspicious.

Others show a clear positive pattern of behaviour and attitude.

At the end of the day though, they're just peoples opinions.

Totally agree.

For us, it shows that people actually take the time and effort to meet, not dreamers or timewasters.

Look for a consistency in verification.

We always meet for a social first so no pressure on any side to take it any further, if that doesn't suit someone, tough, don't meet us.

Both, very well put!

To be clear we have never had a negative experience on here (quite the opposite) and hope that continues! We do our own vetting much like mentioned above and agree that works well! Really we were just curious of what if?

Thanks for taking the time to respond

My Own Little World

The idea of the veri is to confirm that: The person is real, their pics are a fair representation of them in person.

That the female profile is actually a female.

The MF profile also has a female involved.

And that they turn up when they say they will.

I know that some like to give a very detailed blow by blow description of their bedroom performance, and that is entirely their choice, but just because they hit it off and it was their best night ever doesn't mean that I would have the same experience, we just may not click.

Saying this, if they don't match their pics, you were expecting to meet a woman and a bloke turned up or they were a no show then report so Admin can have a look.

Anything more negative such as criminal then you would need to contact the police.
