From the message filters page:
Filters don't apply and people can message if you've mailed someone before (if you message someone you have filtered, they can reply), you have winked at someone, or you are friends.
Have you set them in message filters or just on your account page?
If you have try resetting them but block anyone who's previously messaged from our of your age range
