If you get a timeout (say 48hrs) and you accidentally infringe again, what happens, will your ban be increased the second time?

And it's not like, three strikes and you are out?

They don't increase.

The reason generally will dictate how long.

There isn't a 3 strike rule per say.

But if say a user continues to break the same rule over and over.

It may be escalated to a longer timeout.

It depends on the ban as to how long it is. If you get many bans you run the risk of getting longer or a perm

A couple I know have

“Sorry we are not accepting upgrades”

And

“Sorry we are not accepting uploads”

Does this mean their account is suspended or permanently banned ?

They have received no message about it, and admin don’t respond to any messages.

It sounds like they are suspended yes. They will get reviewed. If the suspension is going to stay they will get a mail from Admin.
