Photo verification discrepancy?

Hi, my first upload for photo verification was a full length shot of me with face hidden holding a paper with the proper information on it. This was rejected and I don't know why. Under "manage photos" there was a little note saying that it must include a face, which is not true, and that if I meant to upload a regular photo I should use the proper method. Can't tell if this was direct feedback from the admin or standard jargon built into the system.

The photo verification information page says: "we need to either see your faces OR the photo needs to be nude and full length if you're concerned about privacy", http://www.fabswingers.com/articles/photo_verification

The photo verification upload page asks: "Is your face clearly visible OR is this a full length nude shot up to your face?", http://images.fabswingers.com/account/addimage.aspx?type=verificationpic

Emphasis on "or".

To remedy the problem I submitted a non-nude face shot with the same paper and it has since been approved. I would prefer not to have had to do this. My concern is not with an admin seeing it, who I'll likely never meet anyway and has little reason to violate trust, but rather the remote possibility of the account being compromised, exposing all photos public and private. Can verification photos be deleted after approval without losing status?

Perhaps there was another reason the first was rejected, but without more information it seems that the guidelines stated on the site don't represent what's being enforced.

Manchester

we have also thought of the pros and cons of this and decided showing our meets verifications or cam verifications are more viable as anyone could hold a piece of paper up just to get photo verified , personally dont see the point of it

As a newbie id met a newbie couple and neither could verify the other. I went into chat rooms to ask for advice and someone verified as seeing me on webcam even though they hadn't! And as a single fem i will only chat to meet verified or photo verified couples as there are loads of single blokes pretending to be couples

Could you not change your face pic for a non face pic once verified

Not sure why your first was rejected but we don't need to see your face and nude + not face is fine as per instructions. We'll correct the message you see when it's rejected.

If in doubt about stuff like this, leave photo in your account (don't delete) and use contact link at bottom of site to contact us direct
