Why does someone have the chat room bubble displayed on their profile when they aren't even on line?

I think the chat bubble means they are on a computer rather than a phone but not necessarily online.

It jist means they have been in the chatrooms before they went offline and just hasnt came off yet, usually disappears when they come back online

The chat rooms and the main site are different I do believe.

By which I mean if you are in chat the main site will after time state last online x amount of time. But the user could still be in chat. The main site will only show them online again if they refresh the main site.
