Had it happen to me 3-4 times over the last month or so, click on it to see who has ‘winked’ and lo and behold, nothing there
Not sure how or why it happens but most likely interweb gremlins |

Yeah similar. I only knew I'd received a wink because I have email notifications set up. No winks showing on the site. Try turning on email notifications as a workaround for now (at least you'll see who sent the wink). Reported it but...
And hey, keep winking ladies, it's just a glitsch |

I used to wonder about the same thing...I think the reason is that people sign up, wink and message eveyone, then delete their account before you read it so you get the notification but not the actual thing  |
