Hi,
I cannot upload videos because I need a verification. My friend who is a gold site supporter can, without verification.
Is that because she's female, or because I'm only a silver member?
Can't seem to find absolute clarification other that single men need a meet verification, as cam verifications are no longer enough (according to FAQ)

Hi op
Being a gold or silver doesn't make any difference as the gold provides for more doc when on cam
As for needing to be verified I myself wasn't aware of this and thought you only needed to be a site supporter for the ability to upload videos as well as have other extras on the site |

Well I still can't get any real confirmation from an admin, but it does seem to be the case that if you are male, you need to have a meet verification before being able to post videos (because males can't have cam verification anymore)
Now I'm all for restrictions where necessary, but the site supporter terms do clearly say "Watch Videos (and post your own!)" with no mention of this, which is very annoying |

I've never heard of this issue but I'd be surprised if there was a restriction on cam veries for single men only.
Why don't you get your friend to verify you?
Even if it is only a cam veri and then you would know for sure. |

You need to find someone who is already verified and ask them to verify you. If you are a couple or a woman then you can get verified by webcam. An easy way to do this is to go into the chatroom while you are both there, switch your webcam on and ask someone to verify you. If you are a single guy then you need to meet someone. |

Ok, just to update anyone else that's been having the same issues, it seems unanimous that single men do indeed need to be verified to upload videos.
I feel this needs to be made clearer when buying site supporter passes.
Still up in the air whether this needs to be a full meet verification or just a cam one. For various reasons I've decided my time on fab is probably at an end, so I don't really want to jump through the hoops to test the theory as to what does / doesn't work, hopefully there's a single male out there with a cam only veri that can test and confirm for others.
Also, everyone go give Sexy_Sarah1 some love, because she's awesome x |

I've only got 1 cam verification and I've just checked... I can upload a 1 minute video |
