Is it possible to search for posts by specific users?

I know you can press the green arrow to show all the posts by a user but don't you need to come across them in an actual forum first?

Any other way to search? Thanka

If you click on the green arrow to your posts, if you change the name in the url to who you want to find, it will then show their posting history.
