Issue accessing via WiFi

Site works (mobile) via 4G (Vodafone) no problem.

Cannot access (mobile or PC) via WiFi (BT) at all, for several days now (never been an issue historically).

If I "Google search" Fab does show up. If I click the link I get a white page with no detail. If I go to the website directly, same scenario, blank white page.

"Other sites" that may be considered in a similar vain still work, so it's not a BT (or Samsung ) blocking or adult content control issue.

Ideas? Remedies?

TIA

Can you reach it from any other device (laptop, tablet, etc)?

We can access the site on Wifi but not on mobile network (or the other way round!). We get a connection/security/certificate error.

If you get a connection/security/certificate error accessing the site on 4G/mobile-data but not on WiFi (or, the other way round!) it means your mobile network (or ISP if on wifi) has blocked your device from adult content. Some mobile networks have started to do this to phones that have always been 18+ verified and some seemingly do it randomly. If you contact your mobile network on their helpline or via their website, you will see how to age verify your mobile account. The error you see is your ISP trying to display a message which does not show on a secure/ssl site like Fab. We've created a special page you can view which isn't served over secure/ssl so should be able to see the underlying message, here.

Once you have age verified your phone, your network usually advises turning the phone off then on again. It sometimes takes a few minutes then for the block to be removed.

Per my initial comment, this is not a mature content block from the ISP. The only website affected is Fab. There are no content blocks, parental controls or other such on the account (I have double checked this).

Remains unable to access at all over WiFi (including the non-secure page).

Have you checked your browser safety search

Four times I had to get mine unblocked with the network even when they had said they had done it for me and it was showing on my account that there were no blocks

Someone mentioned updates on phones the other day, have you had one recently?

There is always the option of a VPN if all else fails

Forget the phone.

I can't access via WiFi on my phone or my PC.

It's NOT an adult / mature content block, because I can access literally anything else.

Fab is the only website affected.

Try clearing app connection so it re-boots

Have you tried using the Opera web browser, using the inbuilt data savings, which uses a VPN?

I did copy and paste the advice on the FAQ's about both

I then gave my own and others experience then mentioned a VPN which can be used on a phone or at home

I have exactly the same problem, same screen, other 'adult' sites work, the only site that doesn't work on Wi-Fi is Fab. And this is over a couple of devices. All Vodaphone content blockers are off, so I'm at a loss too.

Update - FIXED! Did a hard reset on the router (pulled the power chord out and left for a minute) . After reset, sign back into your network and it's fixed the problem. The old turn it off / on again method never fails
