How long after reporting

How long after reporting do you sort out fake profiles? I've reported 2 this last week - one who had stolen a friends pictures and another who had lifted pics off the Internet (I used tineye because they didn't look "real"). Both profiles are still there!

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.
Admin
PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

It is a website that you can check pics to see if they are on other sites.
It does have it's pluses but the downside is that lots of us have pics on a few sites so it doesn't always mean the pics are fake. |

Agree. But this one was a model used on various insurance and and sports sites - lol! He said it was taken at the office party  |

haha, some will say anything, I would report it again incase Admin have missed it.
Sometimes these people take the pic off once they know someone is onto them  |

The pic is still there. I can't report again because he blocked me when I pulled him up on it. The fake profile with my friend's pictures has gone though so yey |

If you had a PM between you both you can report it there....or go to their profile and click on the report button to the left. |

The internet world is evolving every second. Previously, IP addresses were static, now they're dynamic, so it's not possible for Admin to keep someone out by baning an IP address.
Just keep on reporting profiles that you're not happy with  |

If I've reported a post I'm not happy with and no action has been taken that I can see does this mean that the mods don't think I had a case or that my report didn't go through correctly? |

Admin are the ones who see the reports....but yes, if they think a post isn't breaking rules they will leave it on.
If you think it needs looking at again just report it again. |

i just give up and a from today not reporting s thing. We would like to know who sees the reports. Are Admin Mods or Admin just that Admin. |

Admin and mods are totally different. Mods just mod the forums as far as I'm aware. Admin check out all reports of profiles, photos etc x |

I think Kitten knows the answer to this as she used to be a mod but here goes anyway.
Hottie got it right....forum mods mod forums/ chat mods mod chatrooms/ pic mods mod pics...some do more than one.
