Favourite photo when sending message and attach photo

I see there is favourite photos button but not sure how to add them to that section.

Anyone know how that works?

This will save time going all the way down to attach a photo.

I'm not sure but I think it just picks up those you use most often. When I click on favourites I only get my face pics which are the ones I send most frequently on messages.

I've never added them to favourites myself so I just presume this is how it works.
