Is it possible to bloke a hidden profile if you know their user name.

Yes it is possible. Just click the menu button when its shows profile is hidden and the block button is there.

I'm searching for a profile name and it's saying that the profile can't be found but I know the name is correct.

Take it that means I can't bloke the account then?

Go to ur block list and type their name in.. i think this is only on the desktop site though

Copy your URL, replace you username with theirs. Then block from the drop down menu
