Almost no messages are showing after a 2 month break

We've had an illness and had an almost 2 month break. When we came back there we're only 3 messages and all our conversations were gone. We wanted to explain to some of the messengers the reason for the non replies but can't have we only have 3 people in our messages.

Unread messages auto delete after approx 4 weeks, well they do in my inbox, read ones will stay longer not sure if they have a time limit.

thanks for the replies but 3 yes just 3 different messages were there 2 were 7 weeks old and one 4 weeks old. nothing new even though some have messaged us in the last 2 weeks.

Mine auto delete... I can loose 100+ over a couple of days
