Hi, I could do with some help, we have come across two accounts on another platform that have 100s of pics from here on there, and they are charging for the content !

Please could a Mod PM me so we can discuss details, we’ve reported directly to the sites, but would also like to report to Fab and get some actual feedback rather than the standard reporting feature that gives you no confidence that it’s being looked at.

Many thanks

Hi, thanks for alerting us. Many of our pics and videos, some that we took down months ago are on these sites too. It looks like they have been tracking some of us. I recognise quite a few that have been taken from here from various members.

They can support having these sites taken down and report accounts making money from other peoples content.

The TW account has 12000 followers and has an OF link in the bio that sells peoples content passed off as being of themselves.

It's abhorrent that people have been doing this.

Fab - they'd likely support police investigations, where they'd request it. But Fab allows us users to share our content and they won't know who's taken screenshots etc. Fab always investigates each report from us users, as the reporting page states. That obviously needs us to identify any user who has broken the site terms and conditions. I doubt that they can do much more. We each own our content and it then falls on each of us to enforce our copyright ownership elsewhere, where people breach it, including for financial gain.

With any site where we share our content, we have to accept that it's then a risk that anyone could view and save it

Good luck!

O o O oo

It is best to give the sites you have reported this to time to look into it.

In the meantime here is some advice about pics from Admin.

https://www.fabswingers.com/articles/FAQ#rightclick

We believe in being straighforward with the members of Fab. Right click protect doesn't work and gives a false sense of security by pretending to "protect" images. Other sites may pretend they've protected your images but actually they're being dishonest by claiming that.

Right click "protect" can be gotten around in under 2 seconds by any of the following methods:

Simplest: Goto File menu, Save As, and save to desktop = The photos will be in a folder on your desktop that your browser has created.

OR... Disable JavaScript by going to Tools menu, choose Internet Options, Click the Security tab, click Custom Level, scroll to the "Scripting" section of the list and click Disable. Right click can now be used to save images.

OR... Press print screen and the image + page will be copied to clipboard where it can be pasted into a graphics program for resize or save.

We give you three privacy options on your photos and we now hide images from anyone who isn't a member of Fab. If you are worried about someone stealing your photos you may want to set them to be viewable only by your friends, or private in which case you can send by private mail.

We also now watermark all photos upon upload.
