Given all this only thing I can think of is the search parameters (ooh big word I know  )
Don't match their profile like their age is outside what you're looking for or usually or they have a different location to where you're searching to (possible fake location?) Or they do/don't smoke and you're looking for the opposite |

You'd still find the user via search even if they don't match by preferences |

Only thing I can think of how do you know neither of you are able to find each other or is it that you're unable to find them |

Depends if OP is searching by name or not.
For a while my searches only included "only people who would meet smokers" back before I kicked the habit so all the people who wouldn't never showed. I purely speculating of course it's just a potential thought.  |

Depends if OP is searching by name or not.

I was assuming they would know their user name given by the information given and typing in search would pop up |

If you chat elsewhere ask them to comment on this thread and click on the profile when they do if it comes up as your blocked then either yous have blocked each other or admin have blocked yous if theres been a report sent from either of you |
