There are forum rules. There are moderators who enforce those rules. The moderators will have decided that those who are banned have broken those rules. |

I had a friend who replied to a post regarding choosing a club to attend and she has now been banned which seems very odd?? |

Can be many things as mentioned above not following rules, cussing, using words, links to other sites. |

I don't think cussing would result in a ban, but it's a matter of context I guess if it's abusive towards another user.
Needless to say ... it is because the forum rules have been broken |

You'd be surprised as this place is supposed to be somewhere where respect being polite or just wanna those things happen without realising |

Thanks everyone, the post didn’t have any swear words or promote any other sites. It’s all a bit strange tbh |

I was about to ask "What spate?" but I think the words 'the post' answer my question! |

OP, If your friend thinks the ban is unfounded. Ask them to use the contact button and ask admin to review it. |

Here's a link to forum rules.
Your friend will have received a message telling her why she's been banned. As has been mentioned if she considers she's been banned incorrectly she should query it with admin

Abuse is not the only ban reason. People won't always see the post that a person was banned for or the reason why they were banned but 99% of the time there will be a rule break.
As Nicecouple says, they can appeal a ban and can do this from this link
