Age range

I have my age range for men set, but just had a message from someone way out of my age range.

I politely said they were out of my age range and I wasn’t interested and they got really rude and said I should be blocking men out of my age range… and people like me are why the site has gone downhill (!!)

Anyway - Is there a step I’ve missed? I assumed by setting my age limits the site would stop people out of my ranges contacting? Is this not the case?

You need to go to account -- message filters and enable blocking anyone outside your range

Otherwise it's just a prefer listed on your profile

Some people will just ignore the warning and still message. Needs to be where are unable to message if don't fit age preference

No he wasn’t right. He had no need to be rude to you especially when your profile clearly shows the age range. Unfortunately many people don’t take the time to read a profile before messaging x

You learn pretty quickly how to sort out the filters

Nope your id preference is just that op YOUR PREFERENCE so if I was you I'd report and block the knob
