Is there a limit on how often you can wink at someone in a period of time?

I sent a wink then a couple of days later did it again but got a message saying I couldn’t as already winked within 30 days.

However, I’ve had multiple winks from users within a month …. How the wink does that work ?

Always thought is they delete the wink they can be winked again if they don't then x days wait kicked in
