I noticed that last week when I temporarily joined a WiFi network. Despite disconnecting from that wifi it showed my old location for a few hours but it updated eventually. I'm not clear if switching who is near on and off helped, or various other settings on the phone.

Don't rely on it...if your on WiFi your location will be where ISP server is. We often get messages from people in London, Manchester etc who think we are close by. |
