Why dose card payment cost more and u can’t do the £5 one buy card

I don't think fab has explained why but it's perhaps a payment provider arrangement, cost complication.

The more you pay the more days you get so it doesn't cost more. At a guess it would cost more for Admin to process if you could upgrade £5 on a card
