Unwanted verification from someone I haven't even talked to or met

Someone I have not chatted to or messaged on here, let alone even met has left me a verification. It was more a message saying he's new and wanted to be friends

Is there a way to get rid or delete the verification? Rather than just hiding it?

To be honest it's made me feel a bit uncomfortable someone trying to reach me that way

I would go onto the guys profile & report him to admin explaining that hes given you a false veri to try to make contact & ask them to remove it.
