Attaching a video privately to messages

I've had a request from one of my friends for a certain video but wants it sending privately attached to a message, last time I tried this a bit back I could attach a photo to a message but not a video from my private folder. Any tips or is it not possible, thanks.

That would be a great idea if you wanted verification that you were talking to the person they say they are in their profile

Put it in a private folder online (Google Drive, one drive, etc.) send the unique link to the file.

I'm not too tech savvy but have an idea what you mean, like a hosting site something like Flickr.

Yes, but make sure it's private, only visible to the person with the link. Also delete your upload when they have it.
