How do you refresh without logging out and in ?

Ctrl + F5 keys will refresh whole page ignoring temporarily stored bits

On phone browser there is usually a reload option buried in menu, or click in URL bar and reload page by pressing enter. However I usually find navigating away and back to messages will show any updates in terms of new mail.

On my phone dragging down from mid screen quickly then letting go refreshes the page.
