Not getting notifications

Sometime ago I made my profile invisible for a while.

I then turned it back on, but since then I haven't been receiving notification emails.

I have checked and the setting is turned on, but no E-mail

Can anyone help?

Maybe because nobody has messaged you,but have you tried to refresh page after you had changed settings
