HaHa. No, absolutely not. The holiday season will be here shortly and gifting another member to silver or gold is not out of the question. Purely as a gentleman's gift to a lovely friend. Thanks all for the replies.

Similar to the "accept my friend request and I'll meet you, otherwise I'll block you" types I get from some women and couples? lol.

Pay for the hotel room and I'll meet you.. lol. I could make a list: "101 and ways to take single guys for mugs"

Not necessarily taking them for mugs.

I can't accommodate so if they also can't, and they want to meet, what is the problem with giving them the option? They can always say no.

I certainly can't afford to go halves on a hotel room for every man who wants to meet me (and who I like).

I'll prioritise those who can accommodate, consider going halves on a couple of hotel rooms per month when possible and the rest get the option of arranging somewhere or choosing not to.

It's a choice, not an expectation or demand, borne of practical necessity.

There's nothing to stop you texting in to get a code and passing it onto someone, but you want to be really careful you're not being scammed. If someone has ASKED you to do this, don't do it!
