I have a question about site rules. If any of you would be able to answer it then it would be much appreciated.
I have already read the site and forum rules and didn't see a definitive answer.
So..... I am aware that links to other sites are not allowed in the forums unless it is for any well known news site, Lovehoney, YouTube or Wikipedia.
I was just wondering if it is against site rules to have a web address in your status update or main profile description (so long as it is not phishing or scamming and so on as stated in the rules).
As I said, I looked at site rules and forum rules and with the wording I didn't see anything definitive unless maybe I overlooked something.
Thanks in advance to those who can enlighten me.
The web address would be for people to join in a quiz which I host every week (if that's any help). |

"Why not just post a status asking anyone interested in quizzes to drop you a message, then you can send them the link."
I did that last week and although it worked it had me messaging with several different people which can be hard to juggle or keep an eye on when getting the quiz ready to start. |

The messaging system stops you from sending weblinks which I think should be a big clue to the OP's question.
My understanding of the rules is that the position on external websites is the same across the whole site |
