A friend has what seems to be a freeze on their account.

Can login, view profiles and messages. However cannot send messages or post on forums.

Account is photo and in person multi verified but they cannot get in touch with admin? Anyone know how to help?

Just been speaking to him and he mentioned that he's already contacted site owners and not heard anything back? Anything else he could do, or is it a case of waiting?

If you've received no response after a reasonable amount of time (around 48 hours) then admin will take no action

I have contacted them numerous times with the same result. Do you mean they arn't going to try and resolve the issue?

If I understand correctly, account frozen for no known reason. No information provided as to why. Contacted admin and its been 2-3 days and if no response the expected outcome is nothing?

Would appear that way. Seems a pretty shitty system..

Indeed! Especially considering the userbase and revenue stream being generated by both sites!

You don't respond to any of our mails.

We do this for fun and get hundreds of mails a day so we can't respond personally to questions about the site or your account. We recommend if you have a problem or can't figure out how something works, you post to the site help forum. If we responded to everything that people sent us, we'd spend all our time (and more!) doing that and not improving/running/fixing the site. Or, we'd have to employ customer service goons to read and respond to questions from a minority of users at everyone's expense and we'd not be able to do as much as we can for so little cost to you. We do read all mail you send and encourage feedback. If you have reported a problem with the site we will fix it.
