Just recently, our inbox started to show there's 1 unread message, though there isn't.

Just now, that's changed to 2 unread messages when all have been read.

Any ideas on how to fix the issue?

Have you tapped the old inbox by mistake. Try swapping and swapping back x

No, we're on the new mailbox.

Just made a point of switching back to old, then to new again.

Changed nothing.

Revert back to the old style mailbox, you will need to delete some of your newer messages, but you will be able to find the messages that way.

Thank you, we found one that way that was unread.

Though we have read it previously.

Ah well, it's rare it shows no messages anyway
