Admin have a tough job but....for some months now there is a person/couple that are continually opening and closing accounts, based in different part of the country to collect photos from people that they then use as their own on other sites, without the people whose photos have been stolen knowing. They have done this to myself and others. They open accounts, sometimes for a day, sometimes just for a few hours, then close them and open another saying they are from a different region of the country. (If you are wondering how I know it's always the same person/people, it's because they are not very bright and always set up the profiles with a few standards sets of text that they use...plus other obvious profile similarities, same heights, ages always a year or 2 different to one another, although this chages regularly too, etc, etc)
I report this person/ people on almost a daily basis and the profile is often deleted only to be set up either later in the day elsewhere or the following day.
The point of this drawn out explaination is, why can't admin monitor ISP addresses to prevent this happening and therefore safeguard their users from people who are potentially putting peoples careers, relationships (for those that use the site without partners knowing), etc at risk???
Therefore continually reported addresses could be prevented from being able to abuse the genuine users of this site. |

Let me let you into a secret....there are thousands, yes thousands, of adult internet sites that people can easily download photos from....
Why on earth would ANYONE go to all the trouble of contacting people on here for a few photos?
It makes NO sense |

Let me assure you...it has happened to me on here and this is an issue that I was hoping wouldn't be hijacked by sarcasm as this is a serious topic that requires admin to take action to safeguard their site users. |

Don't confuse sarcasm with common sense and facts.....click on X Hamster....you can download images by the tens of thousands....now WHY would anyone go to all the trouble of contacting people on here for a handful of photos?

I am not disputing that they cant get them from other sites....what I am trying to do is highlight an issue that IS occuring here and needs to be dealt with to protect innocent, unknowing site users !!!! It HAS happened to me and others I know also....So whilst it maybe easier to do on other sites, what I am, and am sure other users of this site are concerned about is the safety of their photos, especially from serial offenders when it could be easily prevented !!! |

I think as people have said if you don't want your pics to appear elsewhere don't put them on here - and maybe consider whether they should be on a swingers site if the consequences of being found out would be so devasting |

Of course people take it seriously. bottom line is once you send or post pics they're not yours anymore,
you pay your money you take your chances.
don't post or send any and it can't happen. a bit simplistic but that's the only way that's guaranteed |

Agree. There isn't ANY safe place to post pics on the internet. They could be copied from Facebook to here as well as from here. It's never been a big secret that photos can be right-click saved and posted elsewhere.
As for monitoring ISPs, I can change mine in a few minutes. How will that help the admin, who already have an enormous task just monitoring what they can? |

I don't think it's a case of people not taking it seriously, more like they are very aware of the pitfalls of posting their photos on the internet....and either accept these possible pitfalls or don't post pics that can be traced back to them. |

This is not about one person, this is about the security of site members as a whole.....and if no one had photos that could be made available on here then it would be a very empty site.
It is not just about how it can ruin someones life though, it is the fact that it is wrong and could be prevented either by monitoring ISP addresses or by making it impossible to copy photos from the site...and this is possible as other sites have this facility, and not just swinger or porn sites! |

Sometimes posts aren't necessarily classed as offensive, but can be read the wrong way.....I've noticed this on several occasions with your posts, therefore don't often comment on them....it's a personal thing as to whether folk think others are offensive but unless a person insults another I wouldn't consider reporting them......but I do sometimes think you could be less arsy

Simple solution............
keep all pictures in your private gallery and don't accept friends invites unless you've met them and think you can trust them. |

It is a shame that people spoil sites like this by stealing pics etc... setting up new accounts and either deleting them or admin responding to a report and deleting them.
Points to note are...
Most people have Dynamic IP addresses, not static. This means the IP address can change to any one of millions every time the user logs on.... especially true of Mobile Broadband.
Pics, its your own (our own) responsibility that anything we put on the internet, we realise that its liable to be copied. As ive said before, Public gallery just have full body shots (clothed or naked) with no faces or identifiable marks). Friends only gallery, just have pics that are clothed, non sexual but with faces on. these, if stolen, could of come from anywhere and cant be used against you.
Filters... use the site filters to block incoming messages from new members, those not verified, those with no pics.
Report and block any profiles you think are dodgy, we are after all a 'community', we can all do our bit to help. Granted, its like painting the Forth Road Bridge but 'Every little Helps'
