Verification, how long?

I viewed a new user on cam and left him a verification. How long should it take for him to be verified. He is already photo verified, which was very quick, but my verification, which I did before his photo one still hasn't appeared.

Not to be funny but is the profile you are looking to verify your new profile as mentioned on your profile?
If so then it may be that the site doesn’t allow that to happen to try and prevent the easy creation of sock puppet accounts?
If not then I seem to recall verifications going through quite quickly so would suggest you contact admin |

That just proves you haven't actually read my profile.
I quite clearly said I would start my new profile after I have closed this one down.
People like you are the sort of reason I am closing this down.
Incapable of reading or understanding profiles.
I'll block you here and keep a note of your profile and do the same when I start my new one. |

Verifications we try to leave for another user aren't being saved
If you're trying to verify another account that you have created yourself or you're trying to verify someone who is using the same PC as yourself, or you're on the same internet connection, then the verification won't be recorded. We do this to stop people creating fake accounts and verifying them themselves. |

It could be a simple thing of the person receiving verification blocking single men. Then the veri would not be visible for them. |

Don't get why you are closing on profile down to then open another as doing that won't change other people! Or have I missed something? |

I have my reasons for doing so for those interested in that, as opposed to my actual question, which I'm not going into in a public forum.
For those interested in the actual issue, I have re-tried the verification process and this time it was successful. I still can't understand why, maybe some network issue as both times I was told the verification was saved. Oh well all sorted now. Thanks for those who showed interest in the issue at hand.

Realised what the problem was for those interested or having similar issues. I sent my original verification when me and my friend were having a socially distanced coffee. Because we were both connected to the same WiFi connection at the time it didn't work. |
